Applications
The application for Summer and Fall 2009 entry has closed. Applications for our MA, PhD and DMA programs are no longer being taken, but you may still be able to apply to the BM or MM program (see below).
If you have previously submitted an application on the Eastman website, you can log on to the application to see the data that you have submitted. For candidates who have applied, the admission forms that you may need during the admissions season are available below.
If you have not applied for the Bachelors degree (BM) or Master of Music degree (MM), and wish to request that a late application be submitted for either degree program, you must email the Director of Admissions with your intended degree program (degree, major and instrument) and the reasons why you did not apply before the deadline. Requests may not be granted.
If granted, the late application fee after January 1 is $200.
An application submitted on or after January 1 is NOT eligible for a live audition in Rochester (no exceptions), and may have limited eligibility for financial aid. Late applications will only be considered 'by recording' (Option III in the application) or possibly for a regional audition in January (on a space-available basis).
We expect to be able to notify candidates of pre-screening decisions by about the 10th of January. We are actively scheduling candidates for audition dates based on their program of study, their intended audition date, and the date their application was submitted.
We are also planning to send out file status notification letters by about January 25th that will indicate to active applicants if their files are complete, and if not, what materials are missing.
